I started training with Ian 4 months ago following a pelvic stress fracture through running. I was apprehensive at my first session.. I’ve never really liked the gym and had never really done any form of weight training but didn’t want to loose my new found fitness that I had gained through running. After my first session I was hooked and I’ve been coming every week since.
Alex trained me for several sessions and it’s safe to say he’s dedicated. He taught me things that I still put in to practice today in my own training sessions, and he gave me the motivation to push myself. His constant praise helped me succeed and I would recommend him to anyone wanting to up their fitness game!
Over two years ago I underwent major surgery and since then I have suffered from a serious back injury. My prolonged inactivity resulted in significant weight gain which I was very unhappy about, my confidence diminished and I felt like I had lost myself. On the advice of my physio I joined a gym in the hope that it would strengthen my back, improve my fitness, regain my confidence and self esteem and shed the extra weight.
